Held the 4th weekend in May to honor those who gave us freedom. Procession, food & entertainment. The Memorial Day Procession & Ceremony honors those who gave us freedom! The procession begins at the old Fire Station on South Main Street and ends at the Centre on Main. Family members & volunteers are ask to carry placards with the names of those Grayson County Veterans who passed during service. The Centre on Main will have guest speakers, entertainment, and free lunch provided by GC Fiscal Court.

The Annual Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship contest will be held on July 19, 2025 in Leitchfield, KY on the courthouse square at 9am CDT.

We have six categories of competition in fiddling, as well as dancing, guitar, mandolin and banjo. All six Fiddle categories are Certified by the National Old time Fiddlers’ Contest at Weiser, Idaho. On Saturday evening after the competition, we will feature a free concert! The concert and all events are free!
