Leitchfield is the county seat for Grayson County, Kentucky. Centrally located at Exit 107 off the Western Kentucky Parkway. Our town is located between the Rough River Lake and Nolin Lake, both lakes provide entertainment for our residents as well as the visitors to our area during the warm seasons.

City of Leitchfield Fireworks
Grayson County Middle School-Babe Ruth Field 726 John Hill Taylor Drive, Leitchfield, KY, United StatesThe City of Leitchfield Fireworks will be on Friday, July 17th. The fireworks will be shot from the water tower behind the Grayson County Middle School. This is a stand alone event, so grab your friends and gather in your favorite location and enjoy!

Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship
Courthouse SquareThe Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship is scheduled for July 18, 2026! In addition to the contest there will be vendors, car show, food, children’s rides (2-8 pm), and a free concert immediately following the contest!
